Catering

We do allow your choice of caterers, and we do not charge your caterer the customary 10-15% (or more) of their catering contract with you. Caterers will need to provide their own food service tables.

When you book an event with us we will share with you a list of caterers who have been to Thornewood Castle. You may also provide your own food and beverage if you wish. Food must be prepared off-site and only “finished" or assembled on-site.

Alcohol

We do permit you to bring your own alcohol as long as you acquire a Washington State banquet permit, and we will require a copy of that banquet permit in advance. We DO NOT permit hard liquor. Alcohol may also be catered-in by any business licensed by Washington State to serve in such a manner.

A state licensed alcohol server is a MUST for any event that provides alcohol; there is absolutely no self-service of alcohol allowed. Most caterers can bring a designated bartender along with their crew, but we can recommend other sources of bartenders, as well.

Alcohol service (and music) must end one hour before your scheduled end-time.
